Champions League & Europa League Previews!

The Champions League & Europa League are back this week with some highly-anticipated games coming our way! Get yourself up to date with our match previews!

Tuesday: PSG vs Bayern Munich

A fixture that never disappoints! PSG finished Group H in 2nd spot, behind Benfica who finished with the same amount of points, as well as goal difference. The Parisians are sitting at the top of Ligue 1 with a 5-point gap, however, their form could be seen taking a knock in their recent games as they tumbled out of Coupe de France against Marseille, followed by a 3-1 defeat against Monaco in the league. Considering the dangerous Bavarian frontline, it not unlikely that Galtier`s side will let at least one go in the back of their net on the night.

Bayern Munich breezed through group C and finished at the summit with a whooping 8-point lead. The Bavarians have been playing in good form leading up to the game, having gone unbeaten in their last 19 competitive games and recording 3 consecutive victories in their last 3 games in all competitions. Having a look at the last 3 times these 2 sides met, Bayern came out on top in 2 out 3 of the 3 and considering their seemingly unstoppable form, we expect Bayern Munich to win in a high-scoring game with over 2.5 goals.

Wednesday: Dortmund vs Chelsea

Borussia Dortmund secured their spot in the Round of 16 after finishing 2nd in Group G, 5 points behind Manchester City. Dortmund can be confident going into this Round of 16 clash as they sit 3rd on the Bundesliga table and having gone 8 games without a loss across all competitions. They are certainly to be considered a heavy big threat for Chelsea as they managed to score at least 2 goals in the 8 mentioned games.

Chelsea would`ve certainly wished for a better run of form going into this tie. The Blues have won just 1 of their last 5 Premier League games and are still sitting all the way in 10th place on the Premier League table. Nevertheless, considering they drew their last 3 games which included Liverpool and West Ham, Potter`s side can still be a problem for BVB. The 2 sides seem to be matched evenly on paper and we think that we can expect a tight game on the night, but considering the 2 sides` form we expect Dortmund to win by a narrow margin.

Thursday: Barcelona vs Manchester United

Champions League on a Thursday? May look like it, but we`ve got a banging Europa League fixture coming our way. Barcelona`s confidence will be through the roof going into this fixture considering their recent run of form. The Catalonians have gone 16 games without a loss across all competitions and currently topping the La Liga table with a whooping 11-point lead. Although they`ve crashed out of the UCL, Xavi has now gotten the team to playing exactly how he wants and at the moment Barcelona seems almost unstoppable. However, they are up against a very exciting Manchester side.

The Red Devils go into the fixture on the back on a 2-0 victory over Leeds United. They find themselves 3rd on the Premier League table and a busy schedule as they have Europa League, Premier League & Carabao Cup fixture all in the span on 10 day. Many would agree that ten Hag is building an exciting side, however, they are up for a true test on Thursday. Last time these 2 sides met was in the Champions League quarterfinals, where Barcelona breezed past the Red Devils with 4-0 win on aggregate. Nevertheless, it is fair to say that Manchester United will give Barcelona a challenge themselves and we expect a draw with over 2.5 goals.

We hope you have a great betting week!
